The estate was a wonderful place to spend our delayed honeymoon/first wedding anniversary. Steve was very responsive and communicative in answering our questions and provided some special touches to make our stay all the more special. The house is surrounded by trees with a lovely lake view. We enjoyed hearing the birds in the background and watching the lizards scurrying around. It was very peaceful and private there, which we both appreciated. We were there in June and didn't need to use the AC due to the house having good airflow with the breezes that were able to come through with the windows open. The estate is also well located for the activities we wanted to do on the north and east shoes. Such a perfect place to stay in Kauai and celebrate special occasions.

We have been to resorts all over the world and our one week at your resort was by far the best vacation we have ever had. “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous.” The beaches across from your property were so secluded, and we especially enjoyed swimming and fishing in your lake. We caught many bass and catfish. Rowing on the lake at night was so romantic. We even drifted to sleep on the lake one night. All your personal suggestions were great. We'll be back for a longer stay next time.

The Lakeside Estate is PARADISE! We spent an amazing Christmas break at this beautiful location and enjoyed every minute. The proximity to Kilauea, Honalei, and countless amazing beaches was incredibly convenient and the property was the perfect place to relax with our family after a day exploring the island. The Hunt's were amazing hosts and accessible for questions and assistance at all times. We explored the various fruit trees, trails, pool, hot tub, lake and golf. The accommodations were comfortable and adequate and truly a private Hawaiian retreat. This was our introduction of the island to our children (ages 16 and 12) and I'm sure we've spoiled them forever. They LOVED the property and enjoyed taking adventures out onto the lake or elsewhere and had a magical experience. We hope to return and can't thank the Hunt's enough for allowing us to have this incredible Christmas vacation at their home!
